Along with substantial updates to Google Chrome and Google Translate, Google have included a long overdue feature to the latest version of their Android YouTube App: selectable screen resolutions.
Where before we were limited to "low-quality" or "high-quality" (which was automated based on bandwidth), now we can select from a range of resolutions using the "cog" icon, similar to the web app.
The update hasn't appeared on all devices yet but if you're used to keeping an eye on your monthly data usage this should be a welcome addition.
Still no 1080p, though
Shame, eh?
