Samsung Galaxy S4 — samsung 4.2 update last night

I upgrade my phone last night and now the data notification toggle is gone and the outside of my screen flashes red every time i touch the screen. Plus i had trouble texting on facebook, it would not let me edit a post, the screen kept jumping. Plus my battery is running out much too soon.

Any suggestions on how to get the data notification back? I used to shut if off to ensure I didn't go over my limit. Sometimes I don't know when programs are running and wasting my data allowance.

I thought that if I did that I would lose all my current contacts, apps, widgets, etc?

You can do backup with apps and then factory reset and with app you will get everything back. Use mybackup or helium

@Donna why don't you backup all your data ! There are a number of tools that can help you with this some of them is in fact mentioned by @maja you can also use titanium backup. :angel:
