i have the s3 and am contemplating purchasing the S5 any thoughts anyone have the phone are you loving it or not

I don't have one myself, but a few friends do. If you like the S3 then you'll love the S5, basically. Noticeably faster, better screen (though it's still amoled), better battery, and so on.

I bought a 5" S3..4.4 from China, $245 to NZ door (3 batteries free)...with all the 'hand' stuff on it..finger activate also... my mate just got his S5 y/day ..$NZD1049...we matched speeds, etc...S3 beat it hands down in all spots..S3 can add 11 screens...S5, 5 only...my S3 has 3600mAh ...S5 2600mAh.

Samsung & others are ripping us Westerners grandly ... profit yes...piracy, no way ! ... I'll wait 3-6 months for China S5 ...$2-300 then ! ....don't buy o/side China ...forces our rip-off prices down.

I got it last Friday, my first upgrade since the S2 and really liking it. It's fast, great battery life, comfortable to hold, non slip, at the moment no regrets, all good.:)
