Is it possible to text from Whatsapp without internet?

No, it is not possible for what's app to run without internet connection.

It should use GSM network when internet isn't available.

Its not possble as Whatsapp got connected through Net. Without new you can't send msg

it is a possible use whatsapp without internet but you should have idea sim card just few step follow...
1.open settings-mobile network settings-access points name.
2. create new access points.
- type name - Name(your name or what you want)
- Apn- mmsc
- proxy- 10.4.42.15
- port- 80
remain field as it is.
then select this apn as default apn and just enable your data connection...( don't forget you should have Idea sim ).
don't worry you not charge any others (like main balance)..
@Jigar Patel, either way that thing is still using internet using some proxy server! So, without internet connection you can't use whatsapp !

No, it is not possible to use Whatsapp without internet. To use whatsapp you have to get an internet connection. Without internet connection you can just review your past messages.

Without internet you can not use WhatsApp message service.

I think, it's almost impossible to text from Whatsapp without the internet connection but "Yes" using WhatsApp without Phone Number or SIM Card is a pretty simple thing.
Thanks to a tutorial on ZeroDollarTips Blog (How to Use WhatsApp without Phone Number or SIM Card), just 2 days back I installed WhatsApp without Phone Number on my Google Nexus 5 phone and it's running well.
