How to change your WhatsApp background

Heyo peeps!

If you want to make the look of WhatsApp match your own personal taste, this is done in a few easy steps.

  • Go to the menu within the app.
  • Choose settings and then chat settings.
  • Then select wallpaper.
  • Down the free WhatsApp wallpaper package.

Easy as pie! :grin:

Hi,

I have a question about the chat backgrounds, but I'm not sure whether I should ask here or open a new thread. In the end I thought it would be better to post here than bloat the forum unnecessarily.

Anyway, I am wondering if it is possible to set contact-specific chat backgrounds ?

No, it's not possible to set different-different wallpapers to every individual contacts.

If you want to change your whatsapp background as per your choice this is done in a few easy steps:
1. Launch WhatsApp on your smartphone.
2. Tap "Settings" in the navigation bar; then tap "Chat Settings."
3. Tap "Chat Wallpaper."
4. Select your new wallpaper.
5. Tap the image you'd like to select as your new wallpaper.
6. Go back to the default.

To change the wallpaper of the WhatsApp chat screen, follow the below procedure:
Open WhatsApp Messenger and tap on the Menu key.

Tap More options > Settings > Chats > Wallpaper. Alternatively, you can open a chat > tap More options > Wallpaper. If you're using dark mode, you can use the slider to dim your current wallpaper. Tap CHANGE.

To change your WhatsApp background, follow these steps:

  1. Open WhatsApp on your device. Tap on the three-dot menu icon in the
    top right corner.
  2. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the Settings menu, choose the "Chats" option.
  4. Look for the "Chat Wallpaper" or "Wallpaper" option and tap on it.
  5. You will see a list of default wallpaper options provided by WhatsApp.
  6. Choose a wallpaper from the available options or tap on "Gallery" to select
    an image from your device's photo library.
  7. If you select "Gallery," navigate to the desired image and tap on it to select it as your
    WhatsApp background.
  8. Once you've chosen a wallpaper, you will have the option to preview it and adjust its positioning.
  9. After making any necessary adjustments, tap on the "Set" or "OK" button to
