How to uninstall & remove an app from the Nexus 5

If you would like to uninstall & remove a certain app from your Nexus 5:

1. Click on the app drawer icon
2. Find the app you wish to uninstall
3. Select the app and hold your finger down on it till the "uninstall" menu shows up on the top
4. Drag the app up to where it says "install"

**Please note that doing these steps on the home screen does not uninstall the app, it just removes it from the homescreen**

If you want to uninstall or remove any app from Nexus 5 than just follow 7 simple stps:

  1. Touch Apps
  2. Scroll to and touch Settings
  3. Touch Apps
  4. Scroll to and touch the app you want to uninstall
  5. Touch uninstall
  6. Touch OK
  7. The app has been uninstalled

Surely, this works for user apps but not the built-in ones. A nice sharing though, for uninstalling apps from Nexus 5.

To remove build-in apps you have root your phone.simple

Some Android manager tool can help your manage your APP files on computer: export, install and uninstall.
