Super AMOLED plus has square RGB pixel structure, so it addressed the text sharpness issues in previous Super AMOLED while retaining all the good characters of Super AMOLED display. I think it's quite perfect.

I agree that when I tested the Galaxy S2 the viewing angles were amazing and the colors have so much more contrast that they really pop, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has tested the screen on the Droid Bionic and can compare?

I've owned the iPhone 4, Galaxy S, S2, and now the Atrix. Here's what you gotta know:

"Retina Display" (i4): Fantastic resolution, nice contrasts. Doesn't wash out in direct sunlight.

AMOLED (N1) Suprisingly bad in direct sun, fantastic viewing angles.

Super AMOLED (captivate)'s colors were over saturated, and uses a lot of juice. Somewhat hard to see in sunlight

"qHD" (Atrix): Whites look great. I have zoomed up very close and not noticed pixels. Good in sunlight.

Samsung Super AMOLED all the way and don't even think twice about it. It's a great phone, awesome screen and just amazing.

Thanks everyone. Fran, it sounds like your favorite was the Bionic. Am I right?

Yeah, I would recommend that over the bunch of 'em.
