I'm disappointed that the camera on this device reduces to 2MP when zooming. Maybe I shouldn't even use the pointless zoom but zoom in in Photoshop, but still this is a disappointment.

You're perfectly right to be upset. A lot of phones use "digital" rather than "optical" zoom, which totally destroys the picture quality.

With the latest update (4.0.A."something") you can zoom even in 8mpx. It does reduce the size, but I am not sure how much.
