How to turn on FM radio ?

I am having Samsung's Galaxy fit android 2.2 Froyo version. When I'm trying to start FM radio on it after plugging in the earphones, it doesn't start.This is the android's default app which comes with the phone. Sometimes it prompts me to "turn FM radio on" Earlier it was working fine. I don't know how it has got off now on its own. Is there any power button to switch on/off this app?

First you need to make sure that the headset is pluged in before you try to turn on the app. The headset is the receaver for the app and with out it it cant pick up any radio signals. Then open the app and press the on/off button in the upper left hand side. Then it should work... hope that helps.
