Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
With the 11 Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi has also pulled a cheaper model out of the hat on September 15. The particularly slim design is striking here, but the company also wants to score with a 64 MP triple cam, AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G including 5G functionality.
The "Xiaomi (Mi) 11" portfolio has also grown further with the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE unveiled in mid-September. You can find all nine models (the three new ones already with the new nomenclature without "Mi") in this overview:

The 11 Lite 5G NE is the cheapest of the three new models, so let's take a direct look at price and availability as well.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE: Price and Availability
For the 11 Lite in the new version, Xiaomi offers us a different color palette and also more storage configurations than the two 11T devices. You have a choice of four different colors and three storage variants here, which are as follows:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage
Small downer to this: Presumably, only the smallest model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be offered in this country. In stores, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will be available from October at an MSRP of 369.90 euros.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE: All colors at a glance
We get four colors to choose from on the 11 Lite 5G NE: Besides Truffle Black, Bubblegum Blue and Peach Pink, Xiaomi presents a brand new color variant with Snowflake White. The matte and frosted white, is supposed to remind us of freshly fallen snow.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE: Technical Specifications
Xiaomi wants to offer us a very affordable smartphone with the 11 Lite 5G NE, but which should also shine here and there with flagship features. A 6.55-inch AMOLED dot display with 10-bit TrueColor and HDR10+ support and Dolby Vision is used. The Full HD resolution display repeats images at 90 hertz and also offers a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
As with the more expensive models, the 11 Lite 5G NE also has a triple cam, led in this case by a 64 MP main cam. There's also an ultra-wide 8-megapixel camera and a 5 MP telephoto macro camera. Apart from a new Vlog mode, users:inside here are expected to be kept happy with AI features like one-click AI Cinema and video filters. Up front, there's a 20 MP selfie cam.
The 5G smartphone has a Qualcomm SoC at its heart, with the Snapdragon 778G being the choice. With the 4,250 mAh capacity battery, Xiaomi at least offers us a Quick Charging with 33 watts.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE features
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE presents itself very colorful and in a particularly slim design. It is only 6.81 millimeters thin and weighs 158 grams. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and there is also a very slim fingerprint sensor on the side. In contrast to the 11T devices, Xiaomi naturally targets price-conscious users here.
