Honor 6 Plus — How to lock focus while taking photos

In Honor magic 6 pro, can someone here tell me, how to manually lock the focus while taking a photo. While i press and hold at any point in the frame, there appears a square bracket and a ring inside it, with a pop-up dialogue 'drag the individual rings to adjust focus and metering separately'.
