Volume boosters only mute my sound

Hi,

I am running an Oppo A77 using android 14 and used to be able to boost my volume using a volume booster app, the other day I tried it and it muted my volume and I couldn't get it back to normal, the only way I could get my volume back to normal was to restart the phone. I was using it on bluetooth playing music through an app as I have usually done with no problems.

So now I can't use the volume boosting app just the phone as normal, I have tried a different volume booster app but its just the same.

Any idea's would be helpful
