Google Chromecast — My chromecast is not connecting to Wi-fi

Hi,

Recently I changed my internet service provider and just after that my Chromecast is not getting connected to my wi-fi. Tried everything but was not able to establish the connection. Not able to run my favorite TV shows on my TV too.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Have you forgotten the old network at first?

  1. Trun on the TV that is connected to your Chromecast device and make sure your phone(or tablet) is connected to the internet.
  2. Open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.
  3. Tap on your Chromecasr device.
  4. Tap on Settings - Wi-Fi, Foget network.
  5. Reconnect your Chromecast device to the internet. Keep in mind that the Wi-Fi network on Chromecast needs to match with the one on your phone ( or tablet ).
