Hello I deleted some photos in error with File Manager. Can I recover them please?

Go to Gallery - Albums, there is a folder named with 'Recently deleted'. You can select a photo in the folder and then restore it with ease.

Thanks James for your interest but I don't have Gallery. I'm using a Moto E4 with Android 7.1.1

If so, have you made a backup to your cloud storage such as Google Drive?

Thanks again but it was all mainly Whatsapp stuff and I don't know if they are backed up but I'll have a root round.
