So, if background data use more processing power, then there is little processing power left for UI data. It makes the UI laggy. To prevent this lag in Android phones, Samsung uses more RAM and CPU speed. ... As we mentioned earlier, RAM and CPU loses their computational power over time and slows down the Samsung phone.

First of all, if you've received some Android OS updates, they may not be as nicely optimized for your device. Even your carrier or manufacturer may have added additional bloatware apps in an update. These may slow your system down.

On the other hand, in general, you have installed a lot of apps that run in the background. You also have a large amount of widgets on your home screen. All of these may consume CPU resources, fill up RAM, and slow down your device.

Apps, their continuous updates, and their cache files can consume quite a bit of storage space. If your internal drive is almost full, writing to the file system may be very slow.

It is normal for mobile phones to slow down after years of usage, not just Samsung. But sometimes all you need is to do some housekeeping to speed up your Android device.

If we talk about the apps, so the real Samsung is typically lagging; they are introducing new features very rapidly that is completely different from what you see on the latest iPhones
