Settings for Fortnite

Hi,
I was wondering if it would make any difference if I use optimization guides in order to get better FPS rates when playing Fortnite? I am getting some poor performance at this moment so I was reading if there is something to be done (without upgrading hardware) I came to this guide bestsettings.com /guides/best-settings-for-fortnite/ but I am not sure if I want to mess with the settings. Any advice?
