Sony Xperia E1/Erase/Reset

Hello.

My phone worked fine for years. I installed Whatsapp and had no problems. I decided to free up space and backed up on my computer. Resetting was not very successful as contact numbers appeared without contact names.

I tried to rectify this, using the phone's Backup & Reset. Not successful because I have some contact numbers and no names, even after manual entries.

Opening up 'Internal Storage', it is showing a number of folders which were not visible before, such as, com.sonymobile.androidapp.diagnostics: com.google.android.marvin.talkback.

In regards to your contacts,
Did you deny your contact app any permissions before the reset?
That could be why the contacts didn't get backed up and fully reinstall.
As far as the unknown files,
those could have come from a update That you had blocked before the reset!

Thank you for your reply.

Being uncertain of how to rectify the problem I merely did a Backup & Reset. I did not manage to recover the missing contact names.

The only permissions I denied were the Sony applications. Not sure if those permissions are actually necessary for contact names to function. I guess I may just delete those.
