Having one of two issues with my MX9 pro

Hi, I've just got an MX9 pro and the only way I can get into kodi is via the settings, Apps and then open. But what I can't find is a tile on the launch page. It's not anywhere to be found. I've spent hour on YouTube but with no joy. Any and all advice is appreciated .

I assume, the home launcher is like tiles with different apps installed?

Some Android boxes, You have to add your shortcuts.

Try downloading Nova launcher from play store, the free version will be fine then see if the app is listed in app drawer and drag to home screen.
