As far as I can see WhatsApp does not offer a backup of all chats to a local SmartPhone directory.

I want to avoid using a cloud service.

So when I want to backup all chats (including videos+pics) from first Smartphone 1 and restore it to second SmartPhone 2 is the following procedure possible:

  1. Connect SmartPhone 1 with UBS cable and establish USB connection
  2. Copy the whole directory tree "WhatsApp" from Android SmartPhone 1 to WinPC.
  3. Connect SmartPhone 2 with UBS cable and establish USB connection
  4. Copy the whole just created directory tree "WhatsApp" from PC to Android SmartPhone 2
    ?

On both SmartPhone all contacts are equal without cloud?

If this is not possible: Are there any other similar solutions?

If your phone is rooted, you can use titanium backup app to make local backup of WhatsApp along with app data, then transfer files to destination phone and uae titanium backup app to restore WhatsApp from local backup. If your phone is not rooted, then this is not possible unless there is builtin function inside app like wechat have.
