I always turn my Wi-Fi off to save battery when I leave home but then forget to turn back on so end up using my data. is there a way to set up my s6 edge on Android 7.0 to auto connect and disconnect to my home WiFi?

I enabled smart Wi-Fi feature on my phone and got my home network saved but when I left home and returned I checked and it didn't auto disconnect or reconnect
