Unable to see watsapp display pic of contacts

Watsapp version.: 2.18.217
Problem : unable to see displays of some contacts.. I changed phone and this issue exists in both phones..
I read through all forums and even checked if those contacts not visible have blocked me or not saved my contact in their phones,all in vain.
Then I tried phone settings >apps>permissions> contacts enabled for watsapp.. This was already set to true.

Can you please help me be able to solve this problem please.. Soon this may increase to many more contacts..!

  1. Make sure that all of these contacts have their own photos set in your Contacts app.

  2. Open your phone's Settings app > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions and make sure all permissions required are turned on.

  3. Open your phone's Settings app > Accounts > WhatsApp.
    In the new screen, tap WhatsApp again > Menu Button > Remove account.
    Open WhatsApp > Contacts > Menu Button > Refresh.

Done all this, restarted phone and did the above steps twice.. Still those few contacts display not appearing..

Doesn't work, please support.
