Huawei Ascend G525 — Endoscope Camera not working with Huawei P10 Lite

I have been groping for a solution in order to use my P10 Lite as a portable screen for my Teslong MS100 endoscope camera. I even ordered a new endoscope under assurance that it would work with my phone. It turned out eventually that it didn't. So I unlocked my device and used TWRP to install a patch in the hope of making it work, so far to no avail.

I would like to know if anyone in the world has ever succeeded in getting any endoscope camera to work on P10 Lite. I don't quite understand if it's a software or a hardware limit. In the former case, I would hope to come up with a suitable patch or ROM.
