Not opening a particular what's app account

I am not able to open a chat on what's app ,I am receiving that persons message and I am able to see the number of messages he has sent me
Rebooted my phone,uninstalled and reinstalled what's app but still not able to open that persons chat
And last forgot to mention that I can view and chat to everyone on my contact expect this person
Hope some one can help me

Did he block you? If not, try to delete each other from contacts list and add each other again.
