A problem with pictures in Whatsapp

Hello together,
Thats my problem:
- I deleted a picture (that was a mistake) in my Samsung-gallery, that was sent in a whatsapp-group.
- I asked if someone in this group could send this picture again.
- They send this picture again, but if I tip on that picture, a text is shown: Sorry, that file doesn't exist in your internal memory.

How can i deactivate this?

Go to folder 'Internal Storage / Whatsapp / Media / WhatsApp Documents', check whether the picture file does actually exist.

Can you find it in Gallery under the Whatsapp folder?
