Any recommendations for an open source chat solution

I am planning to add chat to PhraseMates which is an app I developed for language enthusiasts.

The short list is Chat SDK (Firebase), Sendbird, Applozic & Pusher.

Anybody want to share their experience, pros/cons, etc?
