Hello Developers,
I am sure that most of you developers agree when I say that Google Play review system is unfair for us developers.
Why? Because it simply gives the user the right to write what ever comes to mind even if it's not true.
Here are examples of reviews that really piss me off:
doesn't work (one star) : what exactly doesn't work??!
this feature doesn't work (one star) : the feature works perfectly and tested on many devices. You just don't know how to use it.
bad words and cursing (one star) : no comments!
too many ads (one star) : nothing is free brother!
can't rotate screen (one star) : well the app is design this way. Look at Instagram app. Don't I deserve more stars for all the other FREE features?
Apparently, the user knows only 2 options when it comes to rating the app. Either one star or, if you're lucky, five stars. You rarely get 2, 3 or 4 star ratings. In addition, and this is important, only users who hate the app tend to post reviews.
Even though there are tutorials on how to use the app, we still get those kind of people who don't rest until he/she pisses off someone else.
Google should put a limit to those useless reviews that are only harming our apps rating without adding any benefit.
If you agree or disagree, please tell me why!
