How to achieve this kind of image blur on an android App?

Hi everyone, I was looking at material.uplabs for some inspirational design and I found this:

So my question is, how do I achieve that kind of blur at the end of an image, I know how to design my activity to look like the one in the image above, but I don't know how to achieve the blur effect. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some tips about it.
