New tab google chrome issue - braumweb

I'm a novice user and am having trouble getting rid of some pop ups (clash of kings mostly). While they are annoying, I also have an issue with google chrome. Whenever I open a new tab I get the new tab plus another which is home.braumweb... I cannot find where this is in google chrome. If it was on a PC I would sort it in no time but the android has me stumped.
The pop up issue slows up the android and I have pop ups blocked but these ads keep coming. I assume it happened when kids were online. We haven't had issues before.
