Try below given possible solution on your Samsung galaxy S6 device.

Step 1: First of all check your device screen isn't cracked or damaged

Step 2: Restart your device

Step 3: Check an app as causing the problem

Use safe mode

Press & hold the power button > Touch & hold the power off > Reboot to safe mode > OK

Step 4: Turn off developer mode on your phone

Settings > System > Developer options > Turn off

Step 5: Factory data reset

You can try these method first:
1.Restart it by pressing the Power key for 10 seconds.
2.Charged it for a couple of hours and see whether it goes back to the normal state.
3.Boot the device into Recovery Mode, execute the “Factory reset/Wipe data”.

But if Samsung went black, we can't access Samsung settings, we can't factory reset Samsung from: Settings > Personal > Backup & reset > factory data reset > Reset phone / Reset tablet > Erase everything
We can force factory reset Samsung with buttons as the guide below, if it doesn't work, use Eelphone Android System Repair to fix Black Screen Samsung with clicks, it's better to extract data on black screen Samsung in advance, all data will be erased after the process.
