Whatsapp Voice call not ringing.

I have 3 days old Motog 4 plus. I use no magnetic cover case.

My phone does not ring when someone gives me a Whatsapp Voice call. I only get the notification.

If I ring the person back it rings on the other side and can have a good voice conversation.

After this call finished if they ring me back my phone rings.

What might be the reason for this inconvenience please?......Thank you.

I have also moto G4 plus. First of all check WhatsApp call notifications ringtone is not set None..

Method 1:

WhatsApp > Settings > Notifications > Call notifications

You can set custom ringtone on your Moto G4 plus using this

File manger > Audio > Copy Ringtone want to set > Local > Ringtone > Paste (Top right side symbol)

Your phone set ringtone is by default set as WhatsApp call ringtone.

Method 2:

If not work above method then try to update your WhatsApp

Method 3:

Uninstall WhatsApp and again install latest version of WhatsApp

Thank you so much for your answer.

After reading your post I decided to use the motog ring and notifications sounds and it seems to be working....keep fingers crossed.

I have this App called Zedge. I was using some of it's downloaded sounds. For some reason They are not working. Perhaps I ought to re install this app and try it again.

PS : I didn't get any notification email about your reply....I should check my settings of this forum.

Thanks Bestusefulitps I did had the same problem , after restart the problem has been resolved.
