troubleshooting app for android not opening on samsung S7

Hello,

I am an ameteur app developer. I have hired a developer and has finished the job for me. I downloaded app to 5 devices and he has tested, however on samsung galaxy s7 the app didn't open...app was downloaded to 3 samsung galaxy s7 and one worked but two say their apps didn't open. I saw the video of it not opening. The people have uninstalled, cleared cache and restarted phone then installed once again. This didn't work for them.

Could there be something wrong with APK or how else can we troubleshoot? Developer has tried to help me but has offered the solution of him resetting phone which is a definite NO from the person that downloaded it.

Anyone?

Does your app need some special Application Permissions?
Is it possible that some Permissions your app needs were disabled on that two S7 devices? ...

You can also have your app write error log or pop up an error message dialog when opening the main activity.
