Kept crashing every time I turned on the camera. Mistakenly followed advice to 1st remove battery, then remove memory card then clear caches then wipe clean total system before realizing it was all a battery problem. Hind sight shows I should have done the following ; testing for the fault when plugged in and noticing symptoms only occurred with low battery, could have avoided a lot of trouble by getting a new battery. $13 on Amazon. Learn from my folly
