Motorola Moto G 4G — When I play vids wifi bumped to provider

Hi

Hope this is the 2015 Moto G forum.

I don't play internet vids that much but, when I'm at home and I do, seems like most of the time I get bumped off wifi onto my provider and it makes a big dent in my monthly 4G minutes.

Gee, I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but could it possibly be some slick trick by my provider? Only seems to happen with playing vids.

Has anyone had that before?

Any ideas what to do?

Hi!

In theory your phone always tries to join the best network available, the provider can't really do anything about this afaik. Possible yes, but not really plausible.

The answer to your question is not really easy, as there isn't a lot you can actually do other then resetting the phone and try again :(
