Hi guys, gotta problem with my Nexus 7. I didn't use it for a while late last year, did an update to v6.0.1 in Jan 16 and it's stopped allowing me to upload/download apps, music etc from my Dell E6320 to the tablet. I have ASTRO, APK Installer, Advanced Task Manager etc loaded on the tab, but when I plug it in, it shows nothing in Windoze 7 Explorer. Any ideas please? tnx...

  1. Re-install all nexus 7 drivers .
  2. Go to Settings >> Storage >> Touch the Menu icon >> and then choose the command USB Computer Connection.There will be two options are MTP and PTP. choose MTP.

Thank you: I've tried 2-3 different resolves, but still the same. I'm just going to completely reset back to factory & start again. Thanks for the help/info anyway Sanjai...

turn to third-party android phone manger.
I use Syncios Mobile Manger, it backs up and transfer my Nexus 6 data well.
