Motorola Moto G (2014) — Android 5.1 upgrade failed

gone through lot of threads wch reccomends to factory reset or adb fastboot. tried all methods, but the moto g2 is not able to upgrade to 5.1,many people seem to suffer the same , tried ota update over 30 times. downloads and fails during install! if anybody found any remedy plz suggest!
