Motorola Moto X — Not Happy With Update

I just did a system update on my Moto X and I hate the new software update. The lighting is much dimmer even when I go to setting and turn it all the way up. The keyboard is very hard to see as it went to white back ground with black letters as apposed to the much easier to see black background with white letters. When a new text comes in, it used to highlight brightly making new and old text much easier to distinguish. Now I can barely tell if it's a new or old text. The calendar is much smaller and harder to read. This is a really bad system update, I don't even like using my phone anymore.
