Samsung Galaxy S5 — Unable to use SD cards

Greetings.

My S5 suddenly decided to unmount the current sd card and refuses to detect any and all sd cards at all.

I have done several tests, following solutions all over google and forums, and have found the the phone is the root of the problem.

Not the sd cards. Tested.

There is no damage to the card slot, nor errosion on the pins.

This is very much a software issue in my opinion. I have recently done the following just before the issue happened -

1 ) used a usb cable to backup files to my laptop

2 ) uninstalled cms

I have tried a lot of solutions, to no avail. Seeking help from experts on this forums.
