In order to receive any emails on my new LG Stylo G, I had to open a Gmail account. I now receive all of my embarqmail emails OK, but I now need to know how to establish or transfer my present email addresses to my new phone so I can send new emails.

You need to sync it and turn the auto sync and also try to log in again.

You do not need any new email for your new phone. you have to sign in with the old email address to your new phone, so that you can receive the emails on the new phone.

If you log to your existing account on new phone, not register new one, your old mail will sync on new device, so actualy you will have this account sync on both dev.
