I purchased (04-Dec) a Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70F with Android Version 4.4.4 Kit Kat. I performed System Update but it did not take me from kit Kat to Lollipop. I contacted Lenovo and those phone calls were USELESS!!!! I have an exact same tablet purchased 01-Dec and was able to update to Lollipop. How do I get my tablet upgraded to Lollipop? The issue is that the wife is downloading Candy Crush games and the tablet states "your device is not compatible with this version".

I think you should wait for the official update and then you can update it.
