Immediately after upgrading to Lollipop 5.1 my GPS started playing up. It locks onto the satellites and gets a 3D fix then 3seconds later it drops the fix and starts all over again. It keeps on doing this all the time. I have tried resetting the phane back to default using PC Companion but it makes no difference.
The problem only started with Lollipop. I wish I could go back to KitKat 4.4.4 it was rock solid.
Sony do not seem to recognise there is a problem despite lots of people telling them on their support forum.
They want me to send my phone for repair but as I see it they need to fix the software and issue an update.
Until they do my phone is just about useless.
The group XDA-Developers suspect it is down to an error in gps.conf as they say they have replaced the lollipop version with the KitKat version and the problem goes away.
