Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus — lollipop 5.0 update for galaxy note 3

The update removed the calendar widget. I re assigned it to the home screen. However it no longer allows for the touch&hold feature to edit an event directly from the widget. Previously the event could be edited by touch &hold then drag it to a new time and/date.
Now I have to make multiple taps to edit the change date and times manually. Also the delete button at the bottom the screen is a bad concept. When finished with edit it is too close to the back arrow of the device resulting in a deleted event instead of saving it. switching the location of "save" with the "delete" would be helpful.
are there any apps/widgets that can provide the above functions for the calendar that were available b4 the update?
