But I search on the Google, lots of recommendation suggest to use Samsung Data Recovery to have a look. As I tend to recover photos from my Samsung, luckily it works.

As for myself, I've been using the one from AndroidRecovery.net. I have to say it's really a reliable tool, which can help me get deleted photos, messages, contacts etc. back via directly performing an advanced scanning on my Galaxy S7 or SD card. It's really easy to use and get deleted/lost photos back on Samsung. Better give it a shot. Cheers!

Yes, this software do this job for you. Most of this kind of software will scan your phone and SD card deeply to get back deleted photos from Samsung. However, you still need to stop using your phone after losing photos. The new data will overwrite the space where saves the deleted photos on your phone and SD card. Also when you start to scan data with this software, you need to have at least 20% battery on your phone.

Your deleted data might be on the Android phone internal memory or sd card. It is mostly straight forward to restore data if you had data on the sd card. This would be same as restoring from laptop hard drive. One of the things you need to do remember when you try to restore data from Android phone is you should not create or copy new data on to Android device, this might overwrite your lost data. Also, you need to recover data to separate drive or location if possible.
You can try the Android Data Recovery program from FORecovery to scan and recover deleted photo from Samsung. Only a few steps you can get back your lost data from your Samsung phone.

Whether you can restore photos depends on whether the photos have been overwritten or not.
If it still exsits in trash bin, there are a few recover app can recover them easily.

But I still think that backup file is the first way we can recover deleted Samsung photos. Restore from backup file first of all, if can't get back photos from backup file, recovery tool is the last hope.
