On Samsung Galaxy Note 3, open the stock app, My Files.

Then select some file, click Menu button, select Rename from the menu.
In Rename window, there is only main part of file name without extension part.
So that we have no way to rename extension of file name.

Is there any way to rename full name of a file with the stock My Files app?

Thank you in advance.

The default file extension cannot be changed, unless you put the file into a different file.

Thank you.
I just want to rename the file from xyz.lrc to xyz.txt. (nerd)
In fact, .lrc format file is a text file.
