Samsung Galaxy Note 2 — Note 2 - Main Mic Not working

OK all, so my note 2 main mic is not working.

when i call or get a call they can not hear me until i put the phone on speaker.

Speaker is working fine and when i press "speaker they can hear me fine. when i go back to handset they cant hear me.

I took it to a shop and they replaced the board that has the mic and the usb charging port on it but im having the same issue.

can anyone help?
