android dvb s2/t2 vigica c60

Hi I just received my Vigica c60 . There is a problem though the Newcamd does not work. I have imputed the codes properly on a fixed internet connection and it does not connect. I think this can be fixed with a software update including north American satelites. I think this issue should be checked out. I bought this from ebay, XBMC works well. But Jennifer you are incorrect Newcamd does not wok in North America once you imput the Newcamd it DOES NOT connect.. Fix this and you will have a great box.......

Vigica new update addressed the newcad issue stated earlier with an November update
...it runs very well

Also received a C60. Good, but could be way better:

The C60 cannot output true 1080p, only 1280x672. Like cheap tv box. Any chance to have a 1080p firmware?

Even a cheap openbox can output true 1080p!

The 8627 mx cpu is strong enough to handle 1080p firmware, no? 768MB DDR3 is also sufficient for true 1080p?

Disappointing, It was promising with xbmc and cccam...

Also I couldn't find any app compatible with the "remote control" server preinstalled on the C60. Vigica could have listed compatible remote control apps to install on other devices on the network.

There is "Droidmote", but the C60 needs to be rooted to install "Droidmote server".
Beginning to think that I need a UHD/4K Android box to be able to display true 1080p and not just a unbelievable 672p upscaled!

At this point, better wait for S812 or S805 cpu new coming devices with dvb tuner.

Its best point is this model support CCCAM, NEWCAMD, works very stable and well.

Hi Jennifer I am trying to install a cccam line on my vigica c60 but when I type the files in they say not connected could you offer any advice please
