Google Nexus S — music transfer

Why did only a selection of my music library transfer from my Samsung galaxy nexus to my nexus 5.

How did you transfer it? A number of things could have caused it, but to be specific we'd need more details.

yes I transfered it. It seems only the paid for stuff down loaded.

You need to be more specific, please provide us with the following info:
- app or software used to transfer
- version number of your Nexus S
- where are you transferring it to and from

thanks for your feedback, l bought a nexus 5 my music was on my old Samsung galaxy nexus. I put my email into Google music and thought All the music would transfer but only some did.
