I've just got a new Asus tablet pad. It has a USB3 port which is why I bought it. I want to plug and play my WD My Passport hard drive. The Asus recognises it is there and the size of the drive (1.6 TB). However I cannot access the content. What do I need to solve this problem?

I have an original ASUS TF101 and had the same problem. I solved it using Total Commander apk with its USB plugin to mount the USB device. Then you can access the content of the drive.

Thanks I managed to solve the problem. It seems to be that you need a stand alone unit and use the power unit to drive the drive.
Cheers.
