To Scan QR Codes with Samsung Galaxy S3 simply do the following:

1. Install an app such as "iNigma barcode scanner" (or search for another barcode or QR code reader)
2. Launch the bar scanning app and tap the Video Camera icon.
3. Aim the camera at the QR code. After a couple of seconds, you see the data at the bottom of the screen.

I've noticed iNigma doesn't work on some of the devices I've owned. Also, I think Google uses one just called "Barcode Scanner" for its Authenticator app activation, so I mostly use that one. I do like iNigma better in some ways, though.

A really popular one on the Play Store is QR Droid™ which is free.

I'm not sure I'm understanding this correctly.
Once you've downloaded either iNigma or QR Droid, you also need to download Google Goggles to scan QR codes with the Samsung Galaxy s3?

Hi Karen,

Sorry I made a typo there. You do not need to additionally install Google Goggles, you only need 1 app for this.
