Motorola Defy+ — Upgrading 2.1 to 2.3

Hello,
I'm willing to upgrade my DEFY from Eclair to Gingerbread; I've read many threads on the net on how to do in many other models but nothing about the DEFY ]DEFY,
Any hint on this?

You can install cm7, its 2.3.4. There's a FAQ on cm7 go with that

I was thinking to skip out Froyo as it's not my fave so think I'll stick with leaked Gingerbread, will search out in the forum for a step by step guide (even for noobs like me

Heh but if you already have Gingerbread on your DEFY´, why would you go DOWN to Froyo? It's an older version of the Android OS. Ice Cream Sandwich is the next step up. :D
