Hello Gowri, (could your name also be spelled "Gawry"?)
In order to get Android 2.2 on X10 you need to root your phone.
Search for it on Google or head over to XDA Forums and look there.
In a couple of months or so S/E will release an official 2.3.3 for X10. (Not for X8, or the Mini's)
If you can wait that'll be easier and less risky.
